The Marines all gathered at the northern end of the facility, on the docks. Two Space Navy "Puddle Jumpers" were parked at the docks, swabbies already on board. Lieutenant Hayek boarded the first craft and Sergeant Meyen boarded the second. Hoot climbed in the first alongside Sergeant Gravitt. Jones and Private Higgins boarded the second.

Hayek positioned everyone where he needed them. The Puddle Jumper came with an armament of a Mark 30 40mm Grenade Launcher and two fifty caliber machine guns in front and back. Hayek put Gravitt on the starboard side, his rifle aiming at the shoreline and Hoot on the port side, his rifle also aiming at the other piece of shoreline.

Sergeant Meyen put Jones on port and Higgins on Starboard. Once done, the lieutenant radioed the CPO in charge of boat two, codenamed "Stump Jumper Two" to begin the patrol. Both boats, Stump Jumper One and Stump Jumper Two drove away from the docks, upsetting the balance of the water around them. Two Navy PO's manned the Mk. 30 and the fifty caliber at the bow. A SCPO drove the boat and a seaman manned the back fifty caliber.

All seemed quiet, the only noise was emitted from the roaring boat engines. Both boats were protected by heavy metal that could withstand sustained small arms fire. However, any explosive weaponry would have to be avoided indefinitely. They had a long patrol ahead of them.

"We will switch things up in intervals," Hayek said, "we're going to be out here for twelve hours, so we'll frequently switch up positions so you can eat. For now, stay frosty."

It was not long before Meyen's voice droned over the communications.

"Stump Jumper One, orders? Over."

Hayek sighed as he believed he had been clear before they had arrived in their puddle jumpers.

"Stump Jumper Two, you stay behind us and stay frosty. We'll be out here for twelve hours. In two we'll be hitting the ocean. From what I hear, there are still fishermen and civilians out here unaffected by the massive Strogg forces here. If we identify Strogg, we call it in and attempt to eliminate them," Hayek said, "there is also a rebel uprising on this planet, so becareful. We'll be investigating the fishing vessels. Any that look suspicious, we stop. Out."

Hayek sighed keeping a close watch over the area as they moved by, he still wanted to sleep... What had taken this much out of him? Thinking about going to see a medic after the mission and slowly drifting away... Two things he did not want at a time like this, he forced himself to wake up and cracked his next.

(I thought by selecting them I wouldn't have to go XD it's cool either way.)

"If I were trying to ambush a convoy, where would I be?" Hoot said quietly as he looked around, being a sniper he was more or less a master at ambushes.

Elias tried to relax in his station, attempting to make an unenjoyable patrol an enjoyable scenic route drive. . .It was to no avail. His cybernetic eye had to be covered with his eyepatch to make sure that no water got on it. . .He wasn't sure if it would short circuit or anything, and he didn't want to find out. . .It would be a shitty patrol to say the least. . .

Shadow had a hard time staying alert at first and forced himself as he always did through the boring patrols... They normally put him to sleep... "How's it look for you guys?" He whistpered into the comm not wanting to make a sound for some reason...
