HUD - The helmet HUD has become an essential and integral part of a Marine's helmet. The helmet displays basic information such as health and armor strength and also identifies friendlies by a nametag that appears when your crosshairs run over the individual. Hostiles do not have a identifier appear. Also, new objectives given in the field will appear on the top left corner of your helmet screen. Any communications coming from friendly forces will appear on the top right corner and some basic informatino will appear.
Armor: The M78 Combat Armor comes in three different colors depending on your occupational specialty. A standard green color, blue for technicians and a combination of red, white, and black for medics. The armor is strong against many ballistics weaponry, but can only take a small amount of sustained fire before needing to be patched up. Several points in the armor such as the joints and several parts of the legs are left exposed to eneny fire.
Uniform: The normal camoflauge BDUs of the Space Marines come in three different varieties, woodland, desert, and snow. The BDUs are comfortable and a T-Shirt can be worn instead of the regular BDU jacket when not in armor. The shirts come in three colors of green for regular infantry, blue for technicians, and white for medics. Each comes with its own emblem depending on the type of job you have. If you are infantry, a regular SMC symbol is shown. If a technician, a gear is shown with SMC below it. If sniper, a bullseye is shown with SMC below it and for medics, the medical corps insignia with SMC below it.
M36 Green Smoke Grenade - A smoke grenade created to signal that an area is green which signifies there are no hostiles within the vicinity of the area and extraction is possible.
M36 Red Smoke Grenade - A smoke grenade of the same design as its counterpart, except it utilizes red smoke instead of green. Used to indicate areas where danger is close or "HOT" areas.
Field Medical Dispenser - A small device that injects IVs, morphine, and other medical fluids into the body. The needle can pierce straight through the thick armor of a Space Marine.
