RPG INFORMATION
In the Quake: Space Marines Corps RPG, players will create characters that act as part of the elite Hell Hound Platoon (3rd Battalion, 1st Regiment, 9th Platoon) in the Space Marine Corps. Missions are frequently handed down from command, and will often vary from rescue operations to search-and-destroy objectives, and everything in-between. These missions may not always involve Strogg activity.
For this particular platoon, the home ship is the U.S.S. Normandy, and the company commanding officers are Captain John Jacobson (Company Commander) and First Lieutenant George Steponowhich. These officers are some of the best up-and-coming leaders in the Corps, and have reputations of being fair to their men. Do not push them, however, unless you wish to become a demonstration of how much pain and punishment they are willing to dish out.
Your first step on becoming a Marine is to read and understand the RPG Rules. This is important, and will ensure that your stay is a prolonged one. Next, platoon commander Second Lieutenant Nick Hayek requires that his Marines are familiar and intimate with their weapons and equipment in field, so be sure to read the Weapons and Equipment list that can be found in the Briefing Room. A Marine who isn't aware of the tools at his disposal will soon become a dead Marine.
Finally, a brief History of the Space Marine Corps has been provided in order for new recruits to understand the basic mechanics of the Space Marine Corps.
When you think you are ready, head over to the Character Creation forum, where you will find all the resources you need to apply. Once you have posted you application, it will soon be reviewed by staff, and you will be on your way to becoming a Space Marine.
