"Morris to Death, we are hot on their trail. Head down to Vehicle Garage B. Haul ass Marine or the good doctor is going to a lil' dead when we find her!" Lieutenant Morris said over the radio waves.
Godchild nodded and ran down the halls, his comrades hot on his tail. They cleared out several hallways, still keeping their military bearing and sense of survival. Though, Godchild would have rather just ran until he found them instead of scanning the passageway with their rifles and then moving forward. Rhodes was usually in front.
"Damn, these guys are sneakier than a snake in Alabama and probably strike just as hard. Hold on buddy, we'll get these bastards." Rhodes said, turning a corner.
Down the end of the corridor was the entrance into the Garage. Hoot was the first one up and punched in his identification. The door opened and they entered the garage complex. They went through the first garage area without a hitch. When they entered the second, they immediately took cover. A mounted machine gun on a tranport truck opened up on them. The culprits had the doctor within their grasp, forcing her into the vehicle and getting inside. While the gunner was preoccupied with the others, Godchild took aim with his revolver.
He applied pressure to the trigger, his aim on the gunner. He felt and heard it fire. The man fell back into the vehicle. He ran forward and then instantly hopped out of the way as one of them men inside rolled down a window and fired his assault rifle. The vehicle drove off into the snow ridden landscape. The rest of the Hell Hounds and Rhino Squad entered via the other side of the hangar.
"Mr. Death, where is the doctor?" Lieutenant Sharpton inquired.
All Elias did was point to the outside. The Marines looked out there and knew it would be a lost cause unless they trailed after her. Though, they could not leave without expressed permission from the colonel.
"Strauss, get me Colonel Westerman. We need to have a little chat with him." Lieutenant Sharpton ordered.
"Roger, lieutenant. Give me a moment and I will patch you through to him... done. Strauss, out."

Elias was pacing back and forth, revolver in hand. They needed to be quick. The blizzard would cover the kidnappers' trail in a matter of minutes. The snowflakes licked at his bare chest, but he ignored the frigid onslaught. He kept looking out at the blizzard as it mocked him. He'd failed. No. . .No he hadn't.
He hit his head with the revolver, trying to force ideas into his head. Yes. He had a plan. He may be hare foot, bare chest, and lightly armed, but he was Mr. Death. No longer would it be for the curse he burdened, but because it was what he brought.
"I need to get to the armory, Colonel" He said over the Comm as he began leaving the garage "I need something to drive too"

"Aw thats a buncha bullshit, we need to get permission to do or damn job. She seemed like a nice lady too." Hoot said as he looked at Death, who had nothing but the bottom half of his MCUUs on. He did not have to be a genious to know what was happining when the kidnappers took Jane. "Damn Death, that sucks, or doesnt suck, whichever way you want to look at it" Hoot said, he normally knew when to joke and when to be serious but he had to make a few jokes every once and awhile, besides, it had been along time since he made a naughty comment.
He followed Elias to the armory where he grabbed his 50 calibur sniper rifle. He hauled ass back to the garage and waited for Elias to get back and for Col. McAsshole to be so kind as to drop a line to the two platoons.

Grenades. That's what he needed. Six white phospherous grenades. Wait. Eight just in case. Four fragmentation grenades. C4. He tossed all of this into a knapsack. He took extra ammo for his revolver. A rocketlauncher rested in its cradle on the wall. He took it and slung it around his shoulder. Then his eyes rested on something he liked the look of very much.
The 8 barreled .50 cal chain gun rested in the far corner. That's what he wanted. He tossed his shotgun, rocket launcher, and grenades aside, and grabbed it. He took four boxes and tossed them into the bag. He laced up his boots and walked out, still bare chested with a knapsack of ammo slung around his neck and carried the minigun in both hands.
He looked for the nearest vehicle, a GEV looking truck, only bigger ,as if it were an Assault GEV. "I'll be taking your ride, Sir" He said to the Colonel and jumped in the driver seat, throwing the other stuff in the back seat.
He started it up and the engine roared like a thousand blood thirsty savages on a war path. This was his time to get even, this was his time. They did him an injustice by taking Jane, so he would do them an injustice by taking their lives.
((I modded what he took. He only took the minigun and the ammo for it, I apologize))

"Get out of that vehicle, corporal." Colonel Westerman said.
Godchild looked at him with what could only be described as anger, but he did as he was told. The colonel then looked at the Marines of Rhino and the Hell Hounds and grinned. Two squads of Marine Security Guards surrounded them.
"Listen up, you will be accompanied by Alpha Team and Bravo Team. These two units will help you locate the doctor. You may want to fan out and search for them. You have five GEVs at your disposal. Make good use of them, Marines." The colonel said, then left the room.
The Marines nodded and Rhino Squad boarded one GEV. This one had a canopy over the back to keep the Marines out of the blizzard. Lieutenant Sharpton distributed Godchild his armor, which he put on. It would help him stay warm.
"Is there not one place in this damned universe were I'm not freezin' my ass off or drownin' in my own sweat?!" Lieutenant Morris exclaimed before his GEV revved to life.
Meyen climbed in the drivers seat of one of the GEVs and his squad boarded the back. Hoot was in the passenger seat, resting his back against the comfortable leather seats. One of the few luxeries the military gave their troops were leather seats in their GEVs. They had money, there was no doubt about that. The smooth texture of it was amazing. Extremely comfortable.
"If you do not mind, I shall ride with you, sergeant." Corporal Cortez said.
Meyen nodded to him and the corporal grinned, hopping into the back. They would have to move quickly. The other Marines boarded their vehicles and Godchild drove first squad's GEV. Lieutenant Sharpton was with first squad and Gunnery Sergeant Hayek was with second squad. Suddenly, the Rhino Squad drop-ship lowered in front of the garage. The Marines stard in surprise as the back ramp lowered slowly and out came Corporal Matthew Kane, his orange Strogg Tactical armor glimmering in what light escaped the clouds during this blizzard.
The Marine Security units did not respond lightly to the fact a Strogg had been dropped of by a Space Marine transport, but when Morris 'politely' explained to them it was Kane, they lowered their weapons and climbed aboard their individual vehicles. Hoot exited the passenger side, allowing Kane to sit in the passenger seat. He nodded in thanks and climbed inside, next to Meyen. Then Hoot climbed in the back, protected from the wind and snow from the canopy. The GEVs began to exit the hangar from there, as the Rhino drop-ship returned to the colony hangar.

Meyen felt the wheel in his hands, it was vibrating with the revvs of the engine. Meyen's GEV was now outside the hangar, and into the blizzard. It seemed impossible to him, that they were going to find the doctor and her captors through this cold shit storm. He followed the leading veichle, it seemed they were now a convoy in search of an egghead.

Godchild had what Medics called A.T.F.V., or Adrenaline Tunnel Focus Vision, A.K.A. Fucked Up Sight. He had a mission, and his adreanline helped him focus on only that. He floored the Assault GEV out of the garage and into the white powdered landscape.
The hunt was on. He just stared forward, raging through the soft snow, letting the blizzard ravage the Assault GEV to no avail. They'd find Jane, and Godchild would find her captors, kill them, and probably eat them. He had been known to be a cannibal before, in desperate times during war, but he had changed since then. Hadn't he? His savage instinct he had tried so hard to control 10 years ago seemed to crawl back into his gut.

Hoot was sitting in the GEV when he realized, he had been with the Corps for over a year now, sure, Andromeda was his first OP, but he just barely got out of Sniper School and the SOI before that. "Damn, Only with the corps for a year and I am already one of the best snipers in the galaxy." He was excited, maybe he would get to see how his '50 does in cold weather against insane marines.
He figured that it blow into smitherines, and who knows maybe the Doctor wont be dead by the time that the 2 platoons + 2 squads of MPs catch up.

The chain gun in the back seat called his name. He'd use it, and all the bullets. If the captors hid in a building, he'd shoot it down. If they hid underground, he'd shoot a passage down and strangle them to death. He didn't care. He'd kill them, he would. He'd kill them like he'd killed a thousand other times. He was not Elias "Mr. Death" Godchild that the Hell Hounds knew. He was a man with a gun. A big gun.
His foot let off the accelerator slightly. Wait. He had to get control of himself. It had taken him five years to get this much progress on himself. . .He couldn't let it all crash down in a day. What happened 5 years ago? Did he even remember? Voodoo Squad was in the Gorgus Valley. . .Stranded. . .Human Flesh. . .Alone. . .Death. . .He swerved in the snow, shaking his head and emptying the broken flashbacks from his mind for now. Those nightmares were for a different time. . .Was any of it real?

The Marines in the GEVs searched for some sign of the doctor and her captors, but to little avail. It was almost impossible to find them in the blizzard. Their tracks were covered up within minutes and unlike Marines, there were no personnel trackers implanted into their armor. It would be totally impossible to track them. However, it would seem luck was on their side. Meyen's GEV drove up on a hill and from it he could see a smoking structure. It was the archaeological dig that had been mentioned previously by the doctor and the colonel.
Meyen informed the lieutenant and the GEVs all converged on his location. Nighson's captors must have taken her here. This was the belly of the beast. And they were going to infiltrate it. Hoot and Corporal Cortez hopped out of the GEVs, both carrying ghillie suits that conformed to the color of the snow. Hoot had his fifty caliber sniper rifle in hand and Cortez had his assault rifle and spotting tool ready.
The GEVs then drove off, splitting up eventually so that they could surround the facility and infiltrate from different sides. The Hell Hound platoon would move in together while Rhino Squad moved in from the north. The security teams would infiltrate from the east and west. The Marines had the advantage - or so they thought. They would infiltrate in and face whatever hell awaited them. All were frosty.
Meanwhile...
Hoot set up the sniper rifle on a bi-pod and used the snow to cover it up as best he could without letting it become too cool. Corporal Cortez crouched down next to him, looking over the landscape and pointing on possible sniper positions in case they had to move to provide better support. It seemed portions of the archaeological dig facility had been blown out and snow came in. If anyone aside from a Marine passed through those exposed corridors, they would be dead in a second.
"Let's see if they like gettin' a bullet in their head from the best sniper on this side of Arcturus." Hoot said, grinning.
Corporal Cortez did not respond. Hoot began to look up and immediately saw a man charging towards them. Before he could come within ten meters of them, he heard the retort of an assault rifle. A single shot penetrated the man's skull and he fell to the ground, his blood coating the white snow. Corporal Cortez had not even looked to his right to see the man when he fired.
Another two came from the left. Two retorts, two bodies. Again, Cortez did not glance over at them. Hoot unslung his assault rifle and checked to see the area was clear before returning to his prone position. Obviously, he was not exactly the best sniper on this side of Arcturus.
Meanwhile...
Rhino Squad moved through the facility with caution. Hostiles crawled throughout the building. One of the security teams had radioed in informing the other units that there were hostages here and civilian personnel. They were collateral damage and he knew command would appreciate it if collateral damage was minimized. The squad eventually split up to cover more ground.
Corporal Kane went off on his own, an assault rifle slung over his shoulder and a shotgun in hand. They knew he could handle himself. He would most likely assist the other squad's throughout the facility. Morris, Sledge, and the Rhino Medic headed to the eastern side of the facility. Alpha Team had encountered heavy combat in that area and they would probably need assistance.
Rhodes went with Strauss, escorting him to the security center. When the two arrived there, they had to eliminate the 'friendly' guards there quietly. Upon doing so, Strauss had complete control of the security systems and could support the units as needed. Rhodes then went off on his own with orders from Morris to completely destroy the main generator so that the facility would require emergency power, ensuring visibility for the enemy would be limited.
"Hell Hounds, this is Corporal Strauss, I am here to inform you that I have full control of the security systems here in the archaeological dig. If you require a door to be opened or a turret to become disabled, radio me and I shall endeavor to assist with whatever is required to be completed. Strauss, out."
The Marines of the Hell Hounds nodded to this and Lieutenant Sharpton decided it would be best for his platoon if they sticked together. The enemy seemed extremely dangerous and he did not want to lose his men to these terrorists. The Hell Hounds would need to locate the doctor soon or her fate would be grim. They had a mission to do and would do it quickly and efficiently.
((OOC: What I am planning on having you guys do is, this will be divided into segments. For now, you will just be fighting the enemy. But the next turn will have you assisting Rhodes, then the next turn you will receive full sniper support from Hoot, then so on and so on. You will not locate the doctor until the second to last turn in this campaign. Now, have fun and kick some serious ***))

Drabowski was jumpy. He didn't fire. All he did was continue sitting his fat butt in the seat of the GEV.

Hoot stared at Cortez with his jaw wide open. "OK, so I am the second best" He smirked after he regained his composure. Hoot looked through the scope and after a few minutes he saw a giant suit of orange organic looking armor flash across a shelled out part of the structure. He stoped himself from firing in the process of pulling the trigger, another 1/2 of a centemeter and Kane would either need a cane to move around, or his ass would be 20 feet away from his face.
The planet was so cold that literally nothing you could do short of hop in a dropship or a GEV kept you warm, the marine cold weather gear really only helped if you were moving, and Hoot sure as hell was not moving much. He loved the cold, that is one of the reasons he used to hunt the late 2nd shotgun deer season back in Iowa, it was cold as hell over there in the middle of November.
Another flash, this time it was not Orange, nor the color of the MCUUs or the Body armor of a Marine. Hoot then turned on the WHOT Thermal Scope on his M78 50 calibur long rifle. The WHOT Thermal Scope showed heated objects as white and cold objects as Black. He saw a few groups of what he guessed where Marines, they acted like Tactically; bounding overwatch, handsignals, and they interacted with each other. He then saw another human shaped blob, it was about 8 feet tall, this was Kane, unless Yao Ming decided to kidnap Dr. Nighson.
Hoot saw a Tango sprint down the hallway twords the Hellhounds, he could tell who they where by the way they moved and carried themselves. He pulled the trigger and the massive slug smashed through the wall, leaving a small 12.75mm hole. The hole in the terrorist however, was not 12 milimeters around. The bullet hit the tango in the chest and exited just right of the spinal cord.
((00C: I am assuming that this is something like 28 days later and they are zombies, if I am wrong tell me and I will correct my post.))

Just wait and soon you will see what they truly are. Continue to kill them of course. In the next turn while you are with Rhodes, Strauss informs you of what they are.))
