Dunn looked around, feeling somewhat disoriented. The last hours had been a blur for him, and he couldn't remember what had happened. He'd just gone on instinct, reacting, letting his body do the work so his overtaxed brain could rest.
Luckily for him, his instincts were good enough to keep him alive. He blinked and looked around. "What the hell have I missed?" He asked himself.

Elias grabbed th Demolition Expert and shook him "Blow the damn reactor boy!" He said, his single eye wide with adrenaline and desperation. He'd lost a lot of blood and he wasn't about to fail their mission because this guy couldn't keep his shit together "Blow the fucking thing up!"

Shadow and the marines made it to the Reactor Elias was yelling at the Demolition guy and The Seargent had his team protecting them and watching the single door to the reactor... "Set the charge so we can fucking go." He ordered and aimed arouond the corner as he opened the door.

Elias pushed Dunn toward the Reactor, hoping it would get the marine started. They didn't have time for bullshit. He turned to face the threat when a Strogg was sprinting towards them. He barely had time to raise his shotgun and blow it's neck into two pieces.
"Hayek" He said, spitting blood "We're fucked down here if we don't do something quick"

Elias nodded to the Sergeant. The deafening roar of the guns echoed in his skull, but he had to push it out of his head. "I'm almost out of medical supplies" He shouted over the din "We had a shit load of wounded in that last fire fight"

"Tell the boots to use cover more, I can't do anything else but try to make sure they do right and follow my orders..." Hayek sighed and continued shooting. "I've got a few extra supplies in my pack if we get desperate."

Elias grit his teeth. They were utterly fucked now. . .No one could risk getting critically injured. If they did, he'd have to stay with them until the rest of his comrades fought their way out and could bring more supplies to him, and then he wouldn't be able to ensure the injured marine survival.
He shot another Strogg, taking both legs off at the knees. What the fuck was Dunn doing?

The Sergeant let the door close then started randomly hitting the strogg door panel keys to lock it... After a great deal of trying it finally shut. "There we have time till they decide to rip it open..."

Elias laughed a bitter laugh "I think they'd end up doing it anyways" he joked, but had his shotgun aimed carefully at the door
"Dno't worry about sinning boys. . .God's not watching us anymore"

"Give me a fucking minute!" Corporal Dunn exclaimed, planting the charges in key locations.
The reactor cooling had been disabled, meaning this puppy was vulnerable to attack. The cooling system made this room extremely cold. The temperatures too hostile for them enter. Luckily, it had been deactivated.
The Marines kept firing as Dunn entered the detonation sequences to act on remote detonation only. The only thing they had to worry about is the Strogg shooting them or somehow deactivating the explosives. Which, he doubted would happen. The Marines were doing well, sticking to cover and downing any Strogg that aimed their way. Hayek's skillful eye was put to the test as he downed multiple targets that had bum rushed the Devil Dogs.
Beep. The charges were armed. They could leave.
"Alright, these badboys are armed. Let's get outta here!" Dunn said, firing in the masses of Strogg.
"Recon, could you give us an auxillary exit? This way is looking a little hot." Hayek said, putting more red hot lead into the skulls of Strogg.
There was a pause indicating the Force Recon team was hard at work attempting to find an auxillary exit. Static emitted from the communications for several moments before the hardened voice of the staff sergeant blared over the communications.
"Roger. To your left there is a ladder. It leads to some sort of hangar bay. Use it. We'll meet you there. Just gonna blow the communications' equipment and then we'll rendevous with you at the EZ. Don't you dare leave without us, sergeant. It would not be very friendly." The staff sergeant said, chuckling at his last minute jest.
The Marines climbed up the ladder hurriedly. The all entered a large square shaped hangar bay. No aircraft was inside as of yet, but many crates were spread out. Excellent cover positions in case of an ambush. After several minutes of silence, one of the doors opened audibly. Every weapon in the room aimed at the door. Luckily, it was the Recon team.
"You nearly got your head ventilated, staff sergeant." Nightengail said, calming down slightly.
"Man... next time I should knock." Staff Sergeant Rodriguez said.
The Marines called in the drop-ship. E.T.A. until its arrival was five minutes. They had to defend their position and make sure the Strogg did not take the hangar. They were almost out of this hell. Almost.

With the Strogg swarming their previous position, Elias had an idea. He limped over to the ladder shaft, and tossed two grenades down the shaft, to the lower reactor floor.
Atleast 5 Strogg were blown to pieces by the grenades. Elias was satisfied with their screams, proof enough that it'd been successful. Then he limped back behind a crate as fast as he could, to defend their position and the EZ

Sergeant Hayek was calling in for the drop-ship to hurry the hell up, "Corporal Dunn, can you set the charges to a timer?"

"Negative, sir. Not without going back down there, that is. Don't worry. I can detonate it remotely." Corporal Dunn said.
Three minutes left. All was quiet. No one noticed the squad of Strogg Tactical Transfers entering the hangar, using stealth to their advantage.

"Alright... Everyone take cover just in case something comes up... Eyes open..." He sighed walking behind a crate and looking around.
